Role of the Environmental Management Representative (EMR)

To ensure the effective implementation of our Environmental Management System (EMS), we appoint an Environmental Management Representative (EMR), who will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Defining, implementing, and reviewing environmental objectives.
  • Conducting internal audits and reporting findings to senior management.
  • Coordinating training programs and awareness campaigns for employees.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders, including suppliers and regulatory bodies, to promote sustainability.
  • Recommending continuous improvements and corrective actions to enhance environmental performance.

Implementation and Review

  • This policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in our operations, legal requirements, and environmental objectives.
  • The policy is communicated to all employees and made publicly available to interested parties.
